Events

For this project "Trust and the Smart City", we have organized four workshops and three impact cafés, as well as a final project conference in April 2022. The types of audiences are diverse: public engagement events, stakeholders in partner institutions, four specially convened focus groups, and actors interested in ethics. Each workshop and impact café lasts one afternoon, while our final project conference is an all-day event consisting of three panels and a roundtable.

Impact café is an experimental type of research activity designed to be innovative and participatory. Membership is open to the general public. The organizers of impact café determine the precise format of each event. As a general rule, the style is deliberative and open access. We encourage knowledge exchange and stimulate the continuous learning process between all participating parties.
